Black Copper Marans chickens are sought after for their beautiful dark chocolate-colored eggs. They are a particularly beautiful bird with feathered legs, copper neck feathers, and a curious and friendly disposition. Our flock at Peace Farm in North Idaho is made up of two handsome roosters from Tennessee and 15-20 purebred hens from different farms. This ensures that your chicks will be genetically purebred and safe from inbreeding. We have enjoyed these chickens dotting our property throughout the non-winter seasons as they free range and keep the bug populations lower.
